Safety comes first

A couple exercise is never the answer to fear or harm.

MarriageOS is for disagreements where both people are free to say no, pause, and make their own choices. It cannot replace urgent professional, medical, legal, or emergency help.

Repair may fit when

There is still goodwill and ordinary disagreement is safe.

  • Both people can say no without retaliation.
  • A pause can happen without someone being trapped, followed or threatened.
  • Private or vulnerable things are not routinely used to shame or control the other person.
  • The problem is drift, overload, resentment, misreading or conflict—not control.

Do not use Repair as the answer when

Fear, coercion or danger is shaping what you are allowed to do.

  • There are threats, violence, blocked exits or physical intimidation.
  • Sex or touch is forced, pressured, demanded or punished after refusal.
  • Money, devices, movement, work or relationships are controlled.
  • Someone is monitored, isolated, degraded or afraid to disagree.
  • Repair attempts repeatedly trigger retaliation or greater danger.

If there is immediate danger

Move away from the immediate danger if you can do so safely. Contact local emergency services or a trusted local domestic-violence or crisis service. Do not rely on this website for urgent response, and do not leave a safety page open if doing so could increase risk.

If you are unsure

Choose the safer interpretation. A relationship exercise can wait. Medical pain, sudden major mood or desire changes, trauma symptoms, self-harm risk and postpartum complications also need appropriate professional support.

Repair is not control

No MarriageOS script should be used to pressure sex, force disclosure, inspect a device, demand forgiveness, hide ongoing betrayal, make someone stay, or teach one person how to manage an unsafe partner.
